    Have you tired Guaifenesin? There is a good website that lists how to do the "guaifenesin protocol". The link is http://www.fibromyalgiatreatment.com/GuaiProtocol.htm I am a nurse practitioner who uses a lot of alternative treatments and I have had several patients report back to me that this really worked.

    After suffering badly for 27 years my partner has finally been diagnosed with fibromyalgia which, apparently, comes under the heading of Pain Amplification Syndrome. I would be very interested in other readers' experiences of this condition and what alternative remedies they have found helpful. greenringer

    Advise him to contact a local support group for ME / CFS. also look at the various CFS/ME sites on the internet. There are no magic bullets.     I would get my nutritional status ascertained. York Blood test would help with foods/allergies that may be problematic.
