My wife and I are 70+ years old. We protect ourselves from all diseases with a daily dose of Oil of Oregano.( we up the dose at any sign of infection) as well as mega multivitamin pills. We augment that with extra A, C, and D3. Since finding out that my daughter's doctor is prescribng 3000 IU for our newborn grand child we have increased our dosage to 4000 IU. We are seldom ill and when we are it is mild and short lived and we have received natural immunity to that particular strain of infection.

I know of a woman who had a son born with lack of oxygen at birth, which left him with severe retardation. Be careful, it’s coming your way! The boogey flu will get you! We’re having a pandemic! Everyone is in danger!

I say, bah humbug. All this advance notice is very suspicious to me. It seems to me that these are scare tactics so that people out of fear become willing to buy drugs and vaccines for something that hasn’t even happened. There has been no real evidence that the H1N1 flu is any more dangerous than the regular flu. There is however the real possibility of adverse effects from untested vaccines (remember the 1976 swine flu, where people got Guillain-Barre from the vaccines?).

I would be much more concerned about the dangers of mandated vaccines, especially if drug companies are not liable for people who get hurt by them. See

What to do then?
1. First of all, don’t get sucked into this fear and paranoia – wait for evidence.
2. Keep sensible precautions, such as washing your hands with soap several times during the day.
3. Don’t worry about this all the time. Remember the old saying “That which I feared hath come to pass.”
4. If you get the flu, don’t think of it as a big deal.

So much has been spoken in the last few years especially about this planned "Lab Flu" a combination of bird, swine and two strains of human flu dating before we even get to the squalene (responsible for Gulf War syndrome illnesses), thermoserol etc. As I understand it, humans cannot get swine flu unless they are injected with it, or it then incubates in the person vaccinated who becomes a carrier. A young man in the US who worked on his Father's pig farm "got" this flu - but he had been vaccinated just three weeks earlier. When this genetic material was tested, it showed it could not possibly have come from his Father's breed.

It is also said to include genetic material from a very sick Inuit woman which was part of the 1918 flu manipulated epidemic during which millions died. I recently heard a radio 4 Desert Island Discs guest, a professor of biological diseases, say he didn't know why they kept Small Pox incubating and why they didn't incinerate it instead. It is astonishing that someone in this position, in these times, is so unaware that it is kept so it can be developed and made more powerful and then used as biological warfare.

A number of scientific resources - and newspapers in Israel - report that the vaccination is also a way to include the nano technology of the Verichip i.e. the next step to human robotisation. We must be aware - we must say no en masse. There have been many plans for depopulation - wars this last century are just one method. Vaccination is hundreds of years old. I too don't have vaccinations, but that is just my personal choice, not 'advice' and neither will anything else be that I chat about here!

PLEASE....Let us all be civil to each other here, regardless of opinion and I welcome all rational thoughts from anyone.

I look to the real world for logical conclusions, as far as my limited knowledge and understandings allow:-

We have reached this far in our evolution largely without the wonderful world of man-made interventions.

Clean water, sufficient food and basic hygiene have probably been the largest contributors to improvement in health and longevity.

It appears that when man thinks he knows best ...nature 'smacks' him for his arrogance.

It would be very helpful if vaccines were independently assessed,their efficacy figures readily available and the 'breakthrough' rates published (This is the technical term used when vaccinated people go on to contract the disease for which the vaccine was intended to prevent)

If you know of where we can all find an easily understood source of this information I would be delighted to receive it!

A reliable system of reported adverse reactions to ALL medications would also be handy.

Perhaps, if all this information was clearly in the public domain, the public would be able to make a more valued judgment ....and perhaps, that is why it is not ?

Have a civilized discussion...always, even with those you think are nuts... for whatever reason!:)

Swine flu: The phony war

What Doctors Don't Tell You had its genesis in a swine flu epidemic—33 years ago. In 1976, at the start of my career as a young editor at the Chicago Tribune-New York News Syndicate, one of my columnists was Dr Robert Mendelsohn, who wrote The People’s Doctor. Mendelsohn had been entrenched in the very heart of the American medical establishment. Nevertheless, here was this kindly, mildmannered man, your prototypical Jewish grandfather, denouncing medicine as excessive and unproven. Every week, his column would savage yet another medical sacred cow.

In 1976, America was in the grip of an identical pandemic scare. It was the first time most of us had ever heard of swine flu. Prompted by his medical advisors, the then President Gerald Ford launched an ambitious programme to vaccinate every last person in the US, a programme that was on the scale of the polio vaccination of the 1940s and 1950s.

Mendelsohn was one of the few voices out there predicting that it would be a phony war. The rank and file ignored him. He also predicted that the swine flu vaccine wouldn’t work and probably would kill people. Again, he was largely ignored. Most of America dutifully lined up to get their shots. A few months later, after 40 million people had been vaccinated, hundreds of them began to develop a strange form of paralysis—inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy—more commonly known as ‘Guillain–Barré syndrome’, after the two French neurologists, George Guillain and Jean Alexandre Barré, who first identified it in a World War I soldier. Guillain–Barré syndrome, also known as ‘French polio’, is an acute, highly debilitating, autoimmune response that affects the peripheral nervous system, starting with weakness in the legs and eventually sweeping up to the face. In virtually all forms of Guillain–Barré, the body is invaded by a foreign antigen, but the immune system mistakes its own nervous system as the enemy. Vaccination is the perfect inciting incident for this kind of tragic mistake.

In 1976, more than 500 people were permanently paralyzed and dozens of others immediately died—not from the flu itself, but from the ‘cure’. In the midst of this disaster, we waited for swine flu to arrive. And waited. Not only was there no pandemic but, as with the current ‘epidemic’, it wasn’t even communicable disease of any appreciable size. A tiny number contracted the disease, and only one person died. The drug company that had produced the vaccine literally got away with murder. The company had signed a ‘no harm’ clause, refusing to take financial responsibility for any side effects, leaving the US government to pick up the $93 million tab for the injured. This episode stayed with me over the years, sending tremors through the very foundation of my belief system and largely prompting me to carry on Mendelsohn’s work through WDDTY. To me, it also showed that the very institutions we rely on for our health could not only get it seriously wrong, but could even walk away with fat pockets, completely unscathed.

This time, as our cover story this month details, there is evidence that the swine flu virus is a strange recombinant variety that almost appears to be man-made—and it just so happens that the one drug that officials claim saves the day are drugs like Tamiflu, the antiviral synthesized by Roche. By sheer coincidence, the US and the UK have millions of dollars’ and pounds’ worth of Tamiflu to hand, which they bought up to combat the avian flu that never arrived. And again, by sheer coincidence, the stocks of Tamiflu are very close to their sell-by date. As in 1976, this looks suspiciously like another phony war—although, this time, it’s a far more sinister one.
