I work out at sea, normally for 1 week but I can get held over for up to 6 weeks. I stand on my feet for 12 hr. a day just fore work. Sometimes I have a job where I walk, other times I stand, all on STEEL DECKS no cushion just hard surfaces. I have tried different shoes, Doctor Scholls blue stuff but my lower legs still hurt. I have been doing this for 9 years now and the pain is getting worst. My co-workers that have been working out here for longer have allot of problems with their knees. 1 co-worker that has been out here for 26 years had to have knee, and ankle surgery last year because of all the damage from the steel decks. Only now he was forced to take a medical retirement 1 yr. before he would have had a full retirement. I don't want to end up with crutches, or in a wheelchair. I know the first think would be to get another job, but here in Alaska to make more that just min. wage, you work out at sea, or in oil. My starting wage was $26.00 hr. can't get that on land, even in the oil fields. Any ideas?
Re: fibromyalgia

To re-establish the smooth energy flow in the body, removeing or releasing the body's confused fire energy. Dr. James Howenstine, MD.
Posted on March 17, 2009 at NewsWithViews.com

This information about SYSTEMIC ENZYMES is important for anyone suffering from chronic pain and/or inflammation of almost any form:

"Fibromyalgia
(FM) afflicts approximately 6 million persons in the USA, predominately
women in the 20-40 age bracket. FM is characterized by severe muscle
pain, tenderness in 18 points where muscle and tendons merge, fatigue,
          headaches(50%), and severely impaired sleep.
This
common condition afflicts nine times more women than men. These persons
are troubled by severe unrelenting pain in areas where tendons join
bone. Estrogen causes the deposition of fibrin, which can lead to impaired
circulation with sludgy blood flow in the areas of fibrin accumulation.
Hyperestrogenemia is common in our modern world.

The
etiology of fibromyalgia is complex and not completely understood at
this time. A multitude of infectious organisms have been found using
high –resolution microscopy. The list of infectious pathogens
identified in patients with fibromyalgia includes mycoplasma, anerobic
bacteria, several types of fungi, and borrelia burgdorfi (Bb). The fungi
appear to play an important role in causing endocrine dysfunction, presumably
by the mechanism of releasing neurotoxic substances, into the bloodstream,
which disrupt the normal function of the hypothalamus producing hypothyroidism
          and hypo-adrenal function.

Several
patients with fibromyalgia have recovered when taking the Japanese enzyme
nattokinase* made from fermented soybeans. This improvement may have
occurred because the enzymes are able to reverse the adverse effects
of fibrin production and thus improve the circulation of blood into
fibrotic areas. Other enzyme products (Wobenzyme, Vitalzyme,* Lumrokinase)
might also be valuable by the same mechanism."

Over a period of a few months, I have virtually eliminated my chronic lower back pain and stiffness using the enzyme Serrapeptase.

Rather
than just masking the symptoms, systemic enzymes get in there and
remove the root cause of the problem (usually excess fibrin).

Have a quick look at www.Bio-Health-Screen-Co.co.uk some nice pictures on parasites. By having a Bio-Health-Screen you will be able to identify the parasite signatures and be able to sort them out by using the e-Lybra technology. Do you live in the Uk ? Odnt worry about the stone overweight for now, that will soon be sorted out. please do not hessitate to email me as i have dealt with this before, not only on others, but initially on myself !! i never reccommend anything that i havnt tried. One of my firends went from a 14 to 10-12 in one month and had no negative side effects, except for the first few days where die off occured she had a thick head. she did admit that with the constant intake of water the side effects are minimised. She is a happy grandmother who now has her energy back to cope with her grandchildren. There is help out here and i am sure by now you have found the right formula for you, if not why not have a look at the web site. I hope to hear from you soon. I wish you the best of health whichever route you choose to take. These would turn into migraines. Ultimately I tried a herbal treatment and it cured me. Not only me, but so many more have benefitted from it. It is a guaranteed treatment By Grace of God. and to boot it...ultra cheap. There is a herb called "ASTAKHODOS" in subcontinant but readily available in most parts of world. You shall have to check its local name from any Indian friend or a dictionary on herbs.

You should buy appx 250 gms of raw herb. use mallot to slightly pulverise it. take appx 10 gms (pinch of thumb and two fingers) and put in a glass of water in the morning and drink the water only in the evening. Add water to the same herb (already in the glass) and drink it in the morning. For the next day use fresh pinch of herb. Use it for 15 consecutive days and hopefully you shall be cured. It does cause temporary dryness, so add butter to your diet for the treatment days.

I had relapse after 2 years and again used it. It is now 15 years that I am totally cured. The treatment is side effects free (dryness of skin for few people during treatment only).

Re: Painful shoulders - please help

Melody,

Your problem might need a several fold treatment: therapeutic massage, exercise (with weights), chiropractic, and a dentist who specializes in TMJ (temporomandibular joint) problems. Your sore shoulders could be from a bite problem. If your bite is off in any way, it can cause shoulder pain. A dentist who specializes in TMJ can diagnose your problem and prescribe and fit a 'splint' for you that will keep your bite in a more natural position and relieve the pain if it is being caused by your TMJ. I know all this because that is my particular problem and I find that using a splint during the night, getting a deep tissue massage once a month, exercising to strengthen the neck/shoulder muscles, using a good chiropractor periodically, and taking a yoga class twice a week at a local community college has greatly reduced my pain. Hope this helps or gives you some directions to search for relief.

Karen

Re: Metatarsalgia

I've seen several patients with complaints like yours and with metatarsalgia in MT 2 and MT 3 sector as well.
