Where did you go to get your vitamin C / lipoic acid injections?  The problem most people have is finding a doctor willing to do this, and someone who is very ill may not have the time or energy to do much research. Call me a sceptic, but in the sales video for this product (AKA ionised water) the guy constantly refers to the health giving properties of "ACIDIC water" when speaking about its use in hospitals. But it is referred to elsewhere as being alkaline! It may well have a beneficial effect. But the ad is very confusing.

Is this type-1 or type-2 diabetes? How long have you had it?  What is your weight and what is your diet and lifestyle like? I would second the recommendation to use Manuka honey, but at 55 you should not be getting ulcers, whether or not you are diabetic!  Unless you do something about the underlying cause, this is likely to recur, ...
