Thank you for reply, but do you mean I can open the capsules & wash down the powder only (contents) - without consuming the actual capsule at all? I can't tolerate the big oval capsule!

The product is Serrapeptase with Nattokinase - both in the one capsule. I've been told that "enough of them would survive" to get to the colon. But I really doubt it.

For someone who cannot swallow medium-sized tablets/capsules, would it be all right to open the capsules and swallow with water? It seems to me it's a forlorn hope, but I can't think what else to do.

Thank you for all the info re Aloe Vera. Several of my friends are urging me to try it along with Manuka honey.
Between the two of them I should be able to get some relief.

I have a leg ulcer so painful that it's driving me insane. The district nurses want to use compression bandaging (which worked okay a few times in the past) but this one is so excruciatingly painful that I just can't bear the very thought of it.
