A colleague/friend of mine has been suffering with growths in her armpit for over 15 years now.  Doctors have prescribed antibiotics, washes and lots of other things, she's been referred and tested but as yet no diagnosis has been reached.  These growths are extremely painful and are full of pus; she either squeezes them out herself or usually is sent to the hospital for it to be lanced.  She is desparate for some help as she feels at the end of her tether.  Anyone got any ideas please?

Her problem is coming from the inside.

Follow his advice for 6 months and her problem will most likely just go away as she becomes healthy.

Hi,

sounds like she could be toxic - the body starts pushing things through the skin when the organs of elimination are stressed. Has she got anything else other than these boils? Sluggish digestion? Lack of energy? Lots of mucous/runny nose? The body always produces symptoms for a reason.

My suggestion would be to seek a homeopath in your area who can take the details of your friends case & give specific remedies for it or have a look on my website about the energetic hair testing that we do. First your friend must stop shaving her armpits or waxing the hair from her armpits if she does this. This can cause cysts to erupt when the hair follicle is ripped out and if you shave the skin then you are irritating the infection and irritating the development of cysts. Secondly she should stop using any deodorant products for a few months. Just use plain soap and water for a while. She can get a benadine wash to use which is useful to keep the bacteria at bay.  I think your friend has a condition called folliculitis and there is a kind that can be exacerbated by waxing and shaving. It can be more common in people with diabetes and with higher than normal circulating levels of sugar in their blood. So she should be tested for diabetes. I have found that products with sulfur in them are helpful in folliculitis. There is a hair product called Sulfer 8  I think, it is usually marketed fas a scalp treatment for people of African origin,  and is in a yellow plastic jar sold at chemists. A small amount could be tried. In the US there is a product called Sebizon which is sometimes presribed for folliculitis and it worked well for me, as I had it in my scalp.  Also there are now treatments for acne that involve light treatments to kill the bacteria. This might be useful for her condition, at least it is worth enquiring about. I think your friend should see a good dermatolgist who specialises in this sort of thing and should cut out all sugars, as much as is feasible. And as mentioned, stop waxing, shaving or using depiltory products or bleach. Good luck!

HI there - I feel for your friend. I have been a sufferer of s imilar condition since I was 14, I am now 33. Maybe this will help.

My condition is called Hidradenitis Suppurativa or HS Disease for short. If you google it you will see.  The name of the condition translates to  inflamed swear glands.  This is where the glands fill up with a solid (turning into abscess) and liquid state puss.  It is very painful and often un-noticed by others due to position on body (arm pits, leg pits, bum, behind the knee, back of neck, under bosom etc).  It can often release a foul smelling liquid and sometimes not heal for ages, constantly leaking.

I have not yet found any treatment that stop or even reduce this condition.

The many doctors I have seen always blammed it on acne. It took a very long time for a correct diagnosis to be made.

I do hope that you find an answer to help your friend, I have written about this condition on here before but I didn't get any replies. So I will be watchinhg this thread for a few days to see if anyone can help.

Let your friend have a read up on HS disease. If it is the condition they have, then at least you now have a correct name for it.

Find yourself a herbalist or naturopath and ask for treatment for intestinal parasites to be followed by treatment to recolonise the gut with good bacteria and repair the guts mucous membrane.  A collegue of mine has treated a similar problem successfully with this approach.  It took 8 weeks for the boils to begin to really resolve.  I know this may sound a little strange but the previous comments relating to the body trying to eliminate toxins has merit.  Also please take note of the dietary advice to improve your overall nutrition.

For me it seems that the body is full of toxins. I can suggest this:  MeineBase Salt from P. Jentschure. It is a salt with a pH 8,5 to take a bath with, or footh bath's. It s also possible to put a cloth in a saltbath, squeese it and put it on the underarm covered with another cloth to let that a night on the skin.

All the toxins must get out of the body, through the skin, the kidneys, liver etc.  a bath with MeineBase Salt is special, it can take hours, the skin does'nt look  old during that long time in the bath.

I totally feel for your friend!  I suggest she takes the tissue salt Silica twice daily for 2 weeks, as well as consulting a registered homoeopath.  I also recommend that she stops all hair removal methods in that area and cleanses the area twice daily with diluted HyperCal (a mixture of hypericum and calendula in mother tincture form.)  Your friend might also benefit from looking into food allergy problems.

I have read all the replies and agree it could be something coming from inside - maybe drinking Aloe Vera could redress the body's balance? Also avoid deodorants with aluminium salts - try one from Forever Living Products (0844 453 2024) which is safe and effective. Perhaps washing in an aloe soap could be considered.

I suffered from this condition for years and it turned out to be Diabetes!

I had the same thing about 10 years ago. The bad news is I can't remember what the condition was called or the treatment prescribed. The good news is however, my GP correctly diagnosed the condition and the prescription worked.

How does this help you? - Well here's the embarrassing bit. The doctor asked if I was a 'nose picker'. So desperate was I to sort this out that I admitted to this bad habit, and the rest is history.... Who would have thought there was such a link to these boils? The ointment prescribed was applied just inside the nostrils, and shortly after the boils disappeared, never to return. If the bacteria had been allowed to spread, the problem would have migrated to the groin area also, I remember being told.

Maybe a return trip to the GP with this happy tale could yield a positive result. Good luck.

Anyone with acne or boils would be wise to try a dairy free diet as an experiment.  The high level of estrogens (not to mention all the other undesirable extras) unbalances the normal homeostatis of the hormones which can cause eruptions of the skin in some suseptible people.   Good luck trying!

I also suffer from HS for the past 10 years - at first it was abcess in my bum and groins which I had lanced several times before I got a proper diagnosis I have had a draining tube in my bum for the last 3 years which drains fluid from any new ascess that occur in that area and it had made a huge difference I was having surgery about every six weeks and since i got the tube I have not had surgery in that area.  It might sound strange but it just a small plastic mushroom shaped tube

.  In the last year the abcess started under my arms and on my breast.  Last November I had surgery under my arm to have sweat glands and hair folicles removed left with a big scar  which took months to heal and had to go to dressing clinic every second day but Ive not had an abcess in that area since.

I had this condition some years ago and it was extremely painful.  I tried Boil Ease ointment and I even went to doctors who didn't help me.  The boil was extremely large -- over one inch in diameter and raised as well.  I started researching for a cure and finally found a folk cure which totally helped and I have never had this experience again.  Take a lemon and cut it up in slices.  For a solid week, squeeze the juice of the lemon on the boil.  I guarantee it will go away within 7 days.  Pain and all.  After that, you should eat more fruit and vegetables and drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.  You should never experience this again.
