    Teeth and toothbrushes

For the past three years my partner and I have been using the Japanese toothbrush Soladey.  This is claimed to use a titanium rod in the handle to produce ions that fight bacteria and plaque.

Our experience is that it works very well and one does not need toothpaste, only a good light to make it work.  Neither of us have needed any dental treatment nor hygienist in the past three years and our dentist is so impressed that he may recommend them, though it may put him out of business!  We are well advanced in age and have had much dental work until we started using these toothbrushes.

Hoping this helps someone else to good dental health. Details are available on their website:   http://www.soladey.com

    Thank you for this information.

Because I want to believe this, and because it is not too expensive (less than the cost of 1 check up at dentist) I have found a company who sell this, and I have ordered one.  They also sell a different one that neeeds batteries.   Higher Nature Ltd, 0800 458 4747, if any one else interested.

While we are on the subject of teeth.

Are people on here aware of the danger of fluorosis from too much fluoride?

It only takes 42% of an average childrens fluoridated toothpaste to be consumed to possiby kill a child of 2!

Also the US Dental Association have wanred parents not to use fluoridated water to mix babies bottles because it is toxic!

    No such warning in UK!!!

    Adrienne.
