    Kidney Stone

My sister (51) has developed a kidney stone which is now 3.5cm wide (like a golf ball....) and has been told that she will need an operation, which will probably require a blood transfusion.  She had some smaller stones treated by lazer some 15 years ago.  She is a 'worrier' who does not like change and has fine, brittle hair typical of weak kidneys. Any 'magical' suggestions?

If she let it get that large, I am afraid surgery maybe the only option.

to prevent this kindof thing, everybody shoul do a quarterly kidney cleanse

The easiest way to cleanse the kidneys is called the Watermelon cleanse. Those who have diabeties should not use this cleanse. All that you do is sit in a bath filled with water, and eat 20 - 100 kg of watermelon through the entire day. While you continuously eat the melons you continually empty your urinary bladder into the water. By cleansing this way people have dissolved big and smaller stones out of their bodies.

I do this every three months and it has worked very well for me.

That's the dumbest thing I ever heard.  Pee in tub of water while you're eating watermelon.

I read about the benefits of drinking nettle tea during my last pregnancy when I wanted to boost my iron and vitamin K levels.  I also discovered that it dissolves kidney stones.  This may well be worth a go, and the best thing is - May is the best month to get hold of fresh nettles.

    Re: Kidney Stone

Perhaps your sister would try Andreas Moritz's kidney cleanse.

It is likely that her diet is too acid-forming, particularly as you mention a history of renal stones; a vegan is less acid-forming than her current diet is likely to be. Have a look at acid/alkali forming foods on the internet.

It may be that your sister is a 'worrier' because of the reduced kidney health. Some of my clients, with kidney stones (or not) have become less anxious, as a result of doing the above cleanse.
