    Parkinsons and Roaccutane

i have a friend in her late thirties who has been taking Roaccutane for acne. She has now developed Parkinsons and I'm wondering if its connected.

My son took this for a few years and suffered no side effects at all thankfully, it cleared the acne and now at 24 it hasnt returned and he is healthy.

I hope for everyone that it is not a cause for Parkinsons.

    god bless

Roaccutane certainly is associated with fearsome side effects. It has definitely been linked to depression, memory and concentration problems. It does cause central nervous system problems although no specific indication of Parkinson's disease. Time will tell.......
