"lost ankle cartilige" and ankle rebuild op being the only answer!!

The ankle cartilige gave up in October last year and despite physio and acupuncture i could only get about normally and free of pain after cortisone type injections in the left ankle in Jan 2009. I can only walk short distances and play limited golf before the ankle area stiffens up, but at least within a couple of days i am walking as near normal as can be. Has anyone had similar experience and would appreciate recent experiences from anyone after an ankle rebuild op!! Many thanks MB

excruciating toothache

Why is it that every time I have dental work carried out, I end up with an abscess under one or more of my crowns, whether or not they are near the area of dental surgery?

Recently following an extraction, I am experiencing excuciating tooth ache under a crown which goes into the jaw and down into my throat. It is agony. I am unable to get an emergeny appointment with a regular dentist, the best they have offered me is to see one of the trainee dentists. I really want to see a competent practitioner, not a student.

Another worry I have is that every time I have received treatment for an abscess, this has been very painful, in fact I reckon one of the most painful procedures. The dentist always says 'it is impossible to carry out remedial work without pain as an abscess causes the local anaesthetic from working so all drilling has to be done live. The dentist also usually takes out the nerve which done live is a very painful experience.

Any advice please.

Fibroids

I have a large uterine fibroid and have had 3 misscarriages over the last 2 years. All the tests have been done and there are no other problems apart from my fibroids, but nobody will say for definate if the fibroids are causing the misscarriages.

I believe there are some herbal remidies that I can take to reduce the size, can anyone help me with what they may be? My husband and I are currently trying to get pregnant again so need help fast.

I have polycystic ovary syndrom and see on the website that EAC drops, and extract of agnus castus, is meant to be useful. However, I am unable to source EAC drops and wonder if agnus castus extract itself will do the same job. I also wonder if anyone knows whether it has to be in drop form as agnus castus also comes in capsule form.

One of my closest girlfriend has been diagnosed with Sjogren's Syndrome and as I have had a great response to previous health issues I have offered to place it on this forum as to what treatments can she use to alleviate some of the symptoms for example the constant dryness of her eyes, mouth and throat. Chest X Ray?

Is there a lot of radiation ommitted from a chest Xray and would you have any thought on this, I am having an ultra sound test and its has been suggested that a chest X ray would also be good to find out if cancer has spread to any other part of my body. I have breast cancer and I havnt had an operation.
