This just bought back mermories about my sister who is now 34 years old. When she was younger it started about 5years old she was complaining of sore joints. She had all the tests done at the time and Mum was told it is just "growing pains" and Cathy was to get on with it with painkillers. She would "grow out of it". There were times Cathy couldn't work her knees or fingers they were that painful and suffered from the cold alot. It was quite painful to watch your sister struggle with day to day. She was unable to do PE in school and outside activties. Cathy had to change her diet with extra calicum etc with out much success. However when she was in teacher college, she went to the doctors and by chance seen by a locum. It was him that organised a blood test and lung function and Cathy was told she has "Lupus" (Lupus as I understand it is the body attacking itself.) This was a great weight off her mind as she had starting to doubt herself and was going into depression. It has now been 12 years since she has been told and with treatment she has now got painfree, healthy life with 2 healthy children. She still has to go to and get annual lung functions done to make sure all is ok.

I don't want to scare you but just might be lupus, as I have seen anybody mention it before. And as far as I know it is not all that common. I really hope they find out what is wrong with your daughter to allow her a happy healthy painfree life.

Best wishes

Joanne

Re: unexplained joint pain in six year old girl

Dear Nettie , As a Geopathic Stress Practitioner, my advice is to firstly move her sleeping location , either by changing beds , or by moving her bed well away from its existing position . My reason is simple , if your daughter is under the influence of an upper water line , this will show itself in localised 'dis-ease' within the body ........... so the likelyhood is that the line traces a path where an 'edge' of the line passes through her pelvic region .

This is a simple test, to make sure that the problem is not simply being caused by Earth Energy .

Re: unexplained joint pain in six year old girl

As a Registered homeopath of 10 years I would say that to give a child or anyone else 1 dose of Calc Phos in the 30C potency DAILY is wrong and unnecessary and could cause proving symptoms. I am not a qualified practitioner but I have been using homeopathy for the past 15 years with some very successful results. I have four sons and have treated them over the years, my youngest son who is also six has displayed very similar symptoms to that of your daughter. I have discovered that these pains that mainly affect his knee joints are indeed growing pains which are quite normal for a child of this age, although not all children will suffer to the extent of ours! The treatment I have been following is homeopathic and I have been advised by a qualified homeopath to give Calcarea Phosphorica (Calc-p.) Once a day for about a month in a 30c potency. This has been amazing ,he has not complained of pains since I started giving him the remedy. I have been told to repeat this if he complains again of the symptoms, which he has from time to time and after the first or second dose he is no longer saying his knees hurt!!

Calcium phosphate is a mineral salt and is the principal mineral constituent of bones and teeth. It accounts for about 60 per cent of the average human skeleton.

I hope this is helpful and I wish you and your family well.

Regards,

Deborah

Re: unexplained joint pain in six year old girl

Hi Nettie,

I would definitely have her tested for Lyme disease.
