I never denied that h202 is a powerful sanitizing agent. Its is used as such. It will definitely clean any surface, tankers included. It is found in first aid kits to clean wounds and it works brilliantly. Just like iodine for example. Bacterial and living cells die in its presence because it rips cell membranes and proteins apart. Its one of the strongest sources of free radicals. So, if you believe in the health providing benefits of 'anti-oxidants' then drinking one of the most potent sources of 'oxidants' requires some thought...

So, h202 does have medical uses. It has a long history of cleaning and killing bugs. And it is a bleaching agent precisely because it is a powerful oxidizing agent, it will turn your hair and cloths white (and has long been used as a bleach- 'peroxide blond' - 'bleach blond'?..for example.)

Sodium hypochlorite (not chloride- that's a powerful alkali!) and ammonia are common bleaching agents, h202 is just as common. Each work via different chemistry. They teach this around age 14 in UK school chemistry lessons. Have a look:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrogen_peroxide

My only objection was about drinking, inhaling or injecting it, which is the noveau fad.. Iodine cleans cuts, but I wouldn't inhale it or drink it. But the same logic one should use antibiotics to clean the loo. Antibiotics work great at cleaning up infections but they wont clean your bathroom or milk tankers very well.Toilet duck is a fantastic sanitizer but not a good treatments for asthma.

As a mouthwash, h202 will definitely sanitize your mouth. Its also widely used to whiten teeth these days, a process known as 'bleaching'. Its breaks down the stains in the enamel and whitens the teeth (but also makes them a lot more porous).

People may say it works for them, but some people also say they drink and smoke all their lives and it 'did them no harm'. Hardly a basis for health advice. But does it work for aids/HIV, Alzheimer, cancer (all cancers?), asthma, anaemia, liver cirrhosis or Parkinsonism? That's how it is being sold right now.

If you don't believe me, scroll down on this link from a website selling it (a commodity chemical sold at a premium high price). H202 being sold to treat 'altitude sickness'. Hmmm....

http://www.food-grade-hydrogen-peroxide.co.uk/

Now, might those claims be a wee bit, well- over inflated? Is there no shred of skepticism here about any of this?

Do we have anyone here for whom drinking, inhaling or injecting h202 has actually treated Alzheimer's, AIDS, asthma or 'altitude sickness'? Let us hear your story.

And we scientists will not work under your duress any more. Try to drag ore out of the ground. Try to build a railway. Try to build a sky scraper. Or would you rather we left you alone? Perhaps its time we left you be and you would invent a new science. Good luck with that. Let us see your geniuses rise. You have no methods to fight us.

Good luck. Lick your wounds.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxMeLEoPa_o&feature=related

You have been bought and sold.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZamzenkteTk&feature=related

Re: Gangrene in toe.

Hi Heidi

I have to admit some of your tirades have caused me an intake of breath, along with a few of the others', but no lasting damage done!! he he We each express our truth differently, that's what makes life interesting.

I don't feel sorry for my friend - she and I are very close and she understands it's her journey. Her body was in such a dreadful state that she just couldn't face the healthier and slower healing process.

I had a look at the BodyTalk (see no space - I'm listening!! lol) website. Really interesting and empowering. I thought it sounded very like kinesiology and when I flipped to the next page saw that kinesiology was mentioned. I have some knowledge of that very effective method of healing.

Laura sounds like a very caring lady from her posts. She is understandably loyal to her doctor friends who she also knows are very caring individuals. She is also very open to alternative treatments. It's a difficult place to be in.

Sounds like you're a night bird like me. The weather in London has been cooler of late.

Cheers

Sue

Re: Gangrene in toe.

Hi Sue
I told you I'm a catalyst for things coming to a head! I've only been a member for about a month! The thing is, this is NOT a site for doctors - just the name (WDDTY) would be like a red rag to a bull. I therefore can't see how they would come on board without blood in their eyes, as it were, ready to attack/defend and make wrong.

Everything you write about your friend with the hysterectomy is what I've been saying all along - remember my landlady? Drugs create chronic illness, which is then given its own name and then further damage is done when they cut the offending part out which has been 'killed'. I guess she needed to feel the proof of what you'd been saying rather than just reading it or believing you, her friend. That is how indoctrinated people are into believing that this young form of healing science - which is being modified and corrected all the time - is the only thing that can help them, and since it is male-dominated, I can imagine a woman being bullied (that word again) or frightened into staying in the system.

Your friend will now be able to be more convincing when she talks to others, so I hope you don't feel sorry for her; this is her journey, her way.

The only doctors I personally want to see on the site are those who are honest enough to admit that something is morally, ethically and scientifically wrong with what they are doing, and are searching for complementary methods to help - or looking to change over! Again, the others simply do not belong here and they should clear off. I consider my attitude as 'bullish' rather than bullying - somebody had to get in their faces as it were as they were just not getting the message any other way. In my response to Dr Saji on the vaccination site, I can almost hear you saying 'Oh dear, oh dear", but I don't mind. As I did with Harradine, I don't want correspondence to carry on with him any more.

I note that Laura hasn't had any comeback since I wrote about the difference between bleach and oxygen - unless she's off researching to see if I'm right... She's got such good tips for natural healing on other subjects, I just don't understand why she's got this blind spot where vaccines are concerned... or h.p.

As I said, I am a Jill of all trades and master of none, but it doesn't take a rocket science to know when something smells bad - or off! I feel, however, perfectly capable of replying to all their scientific data because they don't know about anything else, it seems, or they wouldn't be so dogmatic.

Well, I'm off to bed. It's 3.10am and only just cool enough for me to be able to get some rest; it has been extremely hot with a very hot, dry wind blowing here around Cannes. My little place soaks up the heat and radiates it out at night. All today I had a wet bandana around my neck and head and I kept wiping my feet and fanning myself. It works, but it's hard work too.... Oh, and it's BodyTalk - no space, f.y.i.....
Bonne nuit

Re: Gangrene in toe.

Hi Heidi

I'm not surprised you do Body Talk after all the injuries sustained from riding!! lol Seriously though, I'll have a look at the website you posted.

My brain would have been scrambled long ago with some of the writing I've seen over the past 16 years believe me! I'm a very tough cookie!! I don't consider all this to-ing and fro-ing of information at all as a rough ride - I have learnt a lot. I haven't done the research that Robin, yourself, Laura and drsaji have done and I won't get actively involved in discussions where I don't have the required knowledge - though I will ask questions when they come to my mind, or if something intuitively feels a bit "off". I only talk about what I know and will offer suggestions when it feels appropriate and I feel I have something of use to offer.

I also operate from "protector" mode, but no-one on here seems in need of protecting - everyone seems well able to fight their corner!! I have been a bit surprised at how much medical and scientific input there has been over the past month or so, as in the 13 months I've been logging on it's never happened before - or not that I've noticed anyway.

I do, however, think that everyone's heart's in the right place and there is a genuine wish to help people - but individuals are coming from very different belief systems. It might not make the dedicated doctors and their admirers who log onto this site very happy, but from what I've read over the past year, people come on here because they have been let down by their doctors and the medical profession have failed to cure them. They are looking for alternative methods of healing as this is often a last resort where they can talk to others who have either gone through what they are going through, or who have found and studied alternative ways of healing.

I posted earlier on in the year about a friend of mine who was advised to have a hysterectomy. Her health was so bad that she elected to have the full operation as she couldn't wait to get rid of her womb - it felt alien to her. One of the doctors actually admitted (and apologised) to her that it was the cocktail of drugs and prescribed medications over the years that had messed her body up so badly (nothing that my friend didn't already know - it was just confirmation). She was in such a bad way that she didn't read all the information that I sent her as she didn't want to be dissuaded. What, unfortunately, she didn't read and she wasn't made aware of as a side effect by her surgeon, was the possible numbness. She had the operation at the end of April and she is still experiencing numbness below the waist and down her legs. She has sworn never to let a chemical into her body from now on. I am sure she will eventually log on here as she feels let down my the medical profession too.

So, doctors, I know you mean well but my understanding is that people log on here because many have given up on being helped by you. If I am wrong on this, I am sure I will be corrected. You have many who follow your ways, and you are highly revered and believed by millions, so I really don't know why you are bothering with this relatively small community who want to find another way.

Thanks

Sue

Re: Gangrene in toe.

Hi back Sue

This Forum should never have become contentious if the people on it had just stuck to its ideals - that of suggesting and letting people know of their own experiences. I don't think I've learnt anything from the medic-minds except that they appear to become outraged when their word is questioned, and damning when for every argument they've got on paper, someone (usually Robin) pops up with a website that proves them wrong! There was not one suggestion of how to effect natural healing (of course) or admission that they've learnt something themselves - to do that would be to negate everything they've invested in, so they resort to bullying and insults. They almost conduct themselves like minor gods, but now the truth is out about how many of their co-freres lie to the detriment and death of the people they are meant to be 'healing', I expect this site to go very quiet..... because if one pops up and makes a bald statement, my only comment will be: "How do you know it's true... prove it!" And hopefully they'll slither away again.

If you read my handwriting you brain would probably become scrambled! I am sure you would be interested in the BodyTalk I keep going on about; I have been the facilitator of some wonderful little 'miracles' and all through the 'innate intelligence'. Nearly everything I've become involved with (already listed) involves the balancing of the body/mind complex .. and for me BodyTalk, so far, is the be-all and end-all (www.bodytalksystem.com). But I still love my Bioptron light for gangrene and sluggish circulation - brilliant for those diabetic ulcers, and it's kept a woman's broken leg free of pain when she reacted badly to the painkillers, plus fixing me up (mostly) in just minutes after being bitten, stood on, squashed and thrown while working around my beloved horses (not all at once of course!).

Again, this site is not created to invite medical opinion, but to get away from that modem; I want to know everything the doctors aren't saying! I apologise if you feel like you've been on a bit of a rough ride; I seem to have this knack of stirring things up wherever I go .. I never start anything, but I very rarely back down. At school I was always the 'protector' of my friends or the weak. We all know where to go if we want medical opinion, after all.

See you on another site.... he he
Heidi

Re: Gangrene in toe.

Hi there Heidi

Well, I never thought that these recent posts would ever become so contentious. I've definitely learnt a lot from both sides of the argument. I came on here from a very open minded stance though more allied to natural healing methods than to the pharmaceutical side of things, purely because of personal experience of people having been maimed and killed by chemicals.

In my years as a healer I have witnessed miracles happen to the human body purely through changes in nutrition and, very importantly, belief systems. I read a fascinating book some years ago "The Power of the Subconscious Mind" by Dr Joseph Murphy. I have read many books since which have served to strengthen my belief in the mind, body connection. I am a graphologist and the thing about handwriting is that it's actually brain writing - there is a specialised area of graphology which can identify illness in the writing. Another brain, body link.

Anyhow, each to their own. The important thing is that we all come out of these various posts learning a bit more and, on occasion, challenging our own beliefs.

Cheers

Sue

Re: Gangrene in toe.

Gidday Sue

I'm here because I've just had a conversation with my brother (who's been using h.p. for 20 years - moreso as a mouth rinse than to ingest it as he is never sick), and he says to tell everyone that hydrogen peroxide IS NOT A BLEACH. Bleaches derive from chlorine, and h.p. comes from oxygen. He says farmers use it (food grade of course) to wash out the milk tanks after the tanker's been, (and tankers, I would presume) and he thinks they spray it in potato crisp packets to keep them fresh.

He is also flabbergasted that our friend Harradine, being a scientist, doesn't know this fact - except I believe it's because he chooses not to.

I haven't read Laura's link - I don't think I need to because I'm betting that because it's a doctor and he can't say anything anti about it, he's resorted to saying that there's no scientific proof, just people saying they've benefited from it. Don't they just shoot themselves in the foot with that statement... if people are saying it works, THEN IT DOES. Science can prove it to the contrary all they like - again, we now know what (high) percentage of scientist lie to distort their facts to their employers. (Sigh) when will Laura learn......

Re: Gangrene in toe.

Me again

I'm not scientific or medical so will just comment on what jumped out at me. This statement - surely that's the best kind of recommendation?

Hydrogen peroxide is a treatment provided by the Bio-Genesis Clinic in Mexico. However, "instead of presenting the public with sound, verifiable, scientific research and conclusions, clinics such as Bio-Genesis seem to rely more heavily on testimonials from former patients as their proof." (DuBois)

I have no knowledge of peroxide except for the fact my ex-husband's uncle swore by it for everything and lived until he was 94.

The American Cancer Society (going from memory here) doesn't recommend it - what do they recommend in it's place? I assume chemo?

I think there will be a certain element of people who absolutely believe that whatever route they take is the right one and will cure them - whichever it be - and will get better.

Sue

Re: Gangrene in toe.

I read an earlier link about hydrogen peroxide. It cited a doctor who researched hydrogen peroxide, so I Googled the doctor and read several links about him.

I came across this:

http://www.bccancer.bc.ca/nr/bcca/asp/PrintPreview.asp?GUIDS=%7BFD2F7F2B-2EA7-49FA-B458-36082DEB0120%7D

I would be interested to hear the reactions of other posters to this article.

Re: Gangrene in toe.

Ummm...I was actually trying to make a joke. I guess I didn't succeed! The thought of urine therapy gags me, hence my attempt at humour, but I have no opinion about drinking a few drops of food grade hydrogen peroxide in water because I haven't looked into it. However, I expect you would agree that drinking actual bleach, undiluted, is a bad idea!

Harradine doesn't irritate me, because I get where he's coming from and in some instances agree. On the other hand, I believe in the value of foot rubs (though I think he means reflexology) and chiropractic! Chiropractic work has made a huge difference to certain problems I was having when nothing else helped. All that a doctor could suggest was painkillers and surgery, whereas chiropractic helped my neck and my migraines hugely after I was rear-ended in a car accident while looking sideways, preparing to merge into traffic. I had the migraines for years, quite often, until my chiropractor worked on my neck and spine.

I am gradually shifting over to having fewer chemicals in my life, because I think that's a sound general principle. I think some drugs are worth taking in some circumstances, but to me they are more of a last resort than a first resort. I wish doctors felt the same.

Wouldn't you call hydrogen peroxide a chemical, though?

Re: Gangrene in toe.

We talk again, laura2 (I've just left you on the S.F. site)

(Sigh) And here we go again..... why do you use the word 'drink' when it is just a few drops of FOOD GRADE h.p. in water? Why do you keep saying it's not safe when there are people alive and writing to tell the tale of their restoration to health after using h.p. internally (and that includes my brother). Have you checked out their sites on You Tube?

Have you heard of anybody dying from using h.p.this way? No? Now I'll ask: have you heard of anybody who's died from using prescription drugs? . Don't bother - I'll answer that one HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS - PROBABLY MILLIONS BY NOW!!
You will immediate counter that, I'm sure, by saying that if people use them incorrectly or take too many at once, s---t happens. Well, it's the same with h.p.... In the doses prescribed, it is very safe and very effective. I cannot comment on urine but I know there will be a good and reasonable explanation as to why urine can be effective in certain cases (like lost in the desert). You cannot make a blanket statement as you do, when there are people who have actually used h.p, to refute it; it just makes you look dogmatic and, well, a bit foolish.
We could make a case against fluoride and chlorine, yet we swim in, drink and ingest these deadly chemicals every day. Why aren't you yelling from the rooftops about them... at least h.p. is only used intermittently and for specific purposes.
Do your research; contact these people and then come back and tell us it's not safe. You do NOT want to be thought of in the same vein as Harradine, believe me...!

Re: Gangrene in toe.

richard ponsonby:

harradine

urine therapy is safe and efficacious for a number of maladies.

AGGGHHHHH! It's not safe to drink bleach! It's not safe to drink bleach! It's not safe to drink bleach!

I'm sorry, Richard, but you just drove me into the lovingly scientific arms of Harradine. I know, I know, his sarcasm is almost as corrosive as bleach, but the thing about urine is, it leaves the body as waste because the body wants to be rid of it.
