dear Heather,
what i suggested about diet changes are basically a start towards health that usually suffice for people to notice a difference. More and more people, however, have gotten more serious problems because of pathogens that have infested their systems, usually through holes in their intestinal wall. Changes in diet that effect the pH of the intestines will stop the intestines from further aggravating the problem, but the parasites that have already found their way into your body live in colonies that won't go away without further attention. That's why i suggested MMS. Hulda Clark suggests certain herbal combinations to combat parasitical infection. Taking the pH diet seriously will also change the pH all through your body, but that means more than just cutting down on meat and juices. It also means green drinks, vegetable juices, that kind of thing, to support the lowering of general pH. The MMS and pH diet both fight the problem, though in basically different ways. Parasites are arguably the cause of almost all diseases according to such professionals. I argue the point in the article on my blog The New Biology; Germ Theory is Wrong! From what you say you're obviously malnourished and since you say your diet is at least decent, that means something is denying you the nutrients in the food you take.
I also just ran into David Wolfe's works on superfoods. Might want to check him out.
