    Vaccine reaction

A reader’s grandson has just been given his first vaccination (the five-in-one) at four months old.  He lives in Israel and his grandmother has been told that they give infants the five-in-one vaccine at 4, 6 and 12 months.  Unfortunately, he reacted badly and suffered seizures.  He is now taking medication while the doctors carry out tests.  Have any readers had a similar experience?  Can anyone offer any advice?

Several readers recommend homeopathy for this child – both to treat the adverse reaction and as an alternative to vaccination.  Ellay, whose two children both reacted badly to vaccinations, chose not to complete the recommended vaccine protocol in Australia and opted instead for homeopathic immunisation.  She also used Bach Rescue Remedy to calm her children down after their reactions, and gave them tepid baths to control their fevers.

Another reader explains that there is an effective homeopathic protocol for treating vaccine reactions, developed by the homeopath Dr Tinus Smit.  Apparently, it is widely used by homeopaths in Britain.  “This baby's parents need to find a homeopath who is familiar with the protocol and follow it under supervision,” advises our reader.  “I have seen it work very well.”

Before doing this, however, it’s a good idea to try and find out exactly what was in the child’s vaccine.  As John points out, components may include mercury, aluminium, formaldehyde or other toxic substances.  Finding out this information may be able to help with suitable treatment of the reaction.
