Having researched available dietry/nutritional advice extensively I can say that it is of no wonder whatsoever, that we have an ever increasing, obesity, diabetes, cancer, etc....NHS crippling, health problem!..whilst accepting other contributary factors also, such as life-style choices, emotional problems, man-made toxins, stress, etc.
The simple fact is that if we were to consume real, fresh, unprocessed foods....as we did for most of man's history....we would not have our current levels of looming disaster...
I trust that at least here on WDDTY and other enlightened sites, we have informed opinion which understands the metabolic processes involved in the digestion of various food groups, lipids, sugars, etc. Those who do, will understand why the 'official' damaging advice from such luminaries as the FSA, Diabetes UK and many others, needs changing.Much of this could be coming from the vested interests of 'food' manufacturers I suspect....via many back doors.
I have tried and been either treated as an idiot, crazy, or misinformed by 'bad ' sources such as here, Mercola.com, Weston Price Foundation, Mary Enig, etc!!
If....there are those of you out there who really would like to make a difference and think as I do on the damage being caused by such perverse advice as...... "eat more starchy carbs", "use vegetable oils", instead of 'good' saturated fats, "every meal should be based around starchy carbs such as bread, rice, pasta etc." ...then can we have a collective influence perhaps? If not, it is a sure fired certainty that the NHS will be over-burdened with the outcomes... some time soon.
Any ideas appreciated and a list of places to take a look at for those who have a logical, enquiring nature!
