    Re: Itchy skin

The problem is that there are a number of things that can cause itchy skin, many of which have been covered here by various knowledgeable posters.

It always amazes me how much  knowledge there is outside of allopathic medicine and how the internet allows ordinary people to disseminate said knowledge.

Itchy skin could be toxins or allergies, perhaps a change of diet, eliminating wheat and dairy and a good cleansing is in order.

It could be parasites, like Morgellon's which is caused by GM foods.

It could be caused by chlorine or fluoride in the water supply, which means avoiding tapwater for drinking, cooking and bathing. Bathing in goat's milk is thought to be beneficial for pregnant women, where tap water can increase the chance of birthdefects or cancer.

It could be electrosensitivity which means avoiding mobiles, DECt phones, w-fi, microwave ovens, satellite receivers, high tension lines and hybrid automobiles.

Since electrosensitivity and multiple chemical sensitivity very often go together I agree with what Richard is saying.

I have been avoiding everything I can - tap water, no swimming, chemicals emr etc etc and am now feeling the benefits. It has taken me 18 years!

    Re: Itchy skin

This article of of particualr interest to me , as my 78 year old mother has exactly the same symptoms , has been trhough all the same raoute viz doctors , dermatologists etc and so far no result . She is slowly going quite mad with the discomfort and is now experiencing severe deperssion as to date no one has been able to daignose what is causing this problem , much less what the solution is . I have seen some research on the net that indicates that perhaps gene abnormailty has something to do with it ? I woudl be most interested to hear if anyone has experience similar problems and wha , if anything , they have been able to do towards resolving the problem .

    Re: Itchy skin

All of these posts are very helpful and interesting.

10 yrs ago a kinesiologist told me that my itchy skin was due to toxins in the body trying to get out. It can also cause bladder irritation.

I am doing a Touch for Health Kinesiology course and was tested ffor Milk Thistle this weekend which appears to be a good idea! All fits doesnt it? Stressed out liver!
