I respect your decision to be a vegan and if it helped you get well then even better.
As you may know,Gerson Therapy is largely a vegetarian therapy that has cured many people of their cancers.
From my research vegetarianism is good for cleaning out the body, but I question its long term use as a lifestyle.
The only people who can get by with no animal flesh are carbohydrate types as determined by metabolic typing and these are typically people who live at or near the Equator.
The further one moves away from the equator, towards the poles, the more meat is eaten.
This is due to the AVAILABILITY of both meat and veg.
Veggies grow year round at the equator but are non existent at the north pole!!
The peoples at both locations would, over millions of years, adapt to function on yhe available foods.
Weston Price was far from blind or stupid.Read his book "Nutrition and Physical Degeneration" or visit www.ppnf.org for more info.
He simply found tribes who ate relatively little meat, because they couldn't get it,were always weaker and less robust than tribes who ate the most meat.
He wasn't anti vegetarian,he simply reported what he saw.
Read "The Secret Life of Plants" by Tompkins and Bird and you will see proof that plants are just as sentient and conscious and respond to human emotion just like animals!!!...this book will change your life.
I am sure plants are treated just as inhumanely as animals but because they are not seen as sentient beings and don't have cute furry faces it doesn't seem to matter.
The best way is to grow your own animals and plants but it is impracticable for most of us.
