Today's wddty email issue has a misleading heading on the recent story out of the US regarding a vaccine court case.  It conjoins the MMR jab with the idea/theory of a link with the mercury-containing additive thimerosal.  In point of fact, the MMR jab does not have thimerosal in it (being a live-virus vaccine, the thimerosal would kill the active ingredients).  The case was about vaccines in general; a cocktail of them that the child received at the age of 18 months which included the MMR but also a number of others, some?one? of which contained thimerosal.  The details are included in an article in this week's (dated 8 March) online edition of New Scientist, and more fully in a David Kirby article in the online issue of Huffington Post.  Let's be careful of conjoining the MMR jab with the mercury link.  It has its own dangerous biochemical pathway.  The vaccine's measles virus is bad enough, in its effect on the child's gut (potentially inducing leaky gut syndrome), is bad enough, without clouding the issue with the mercury factor.   

I do not disagree with your comments however I'm not so sure that you can so easily dissociate the two issues.  We are all breathing greater and greater amounts of mercury due to the huge increases in mercury arising from power generation in China and the US. I understand that the fuels being burned have greater content of mercury. Nevertheless only a small proportion of the population suffers from autism, although this has been steadily increasing since the 1960/70's. So for most of us the mercury is absorbed and released whilst for others this is not the case.

The issue here is the function of the lymphatic system and the brain's executive functions. There are links between vaccines, the function of the lymphatic system and other physiological systems, and the body's basic biochemistry. The use of vaccines, in particular of triple vaccines, has been noted to cause inflammation in the brain (and affects neural cell biochemistry) which affects a child's ability to regulate its physiology. The damage to the lymphatic system merely makes the condition worse by preventing the body from ridding itself of the mercury. Mercury, Lead, and Aluminium have long-term effect upon brain function which is well documented.

To illustrate the point: (1) autism therapies include the use breathing techniques (breathing is another of the body's executive functions) (2) a sometimes observed phenomenon associated with autistic children is that when they have a fever and their temperature rises, they lose their autistic symptoms but when the temperature recedes the autism reoccurs (temperature regulation is another of the cerebrum's executive functions).

Just proves that the CDC doesn't care about health.

They assault a young child's immune system with toxic poisons and then scratch their heads as to why they develop illness...DUH!!!

They know perfectly well what they are doing, and the damage they are causing,indeed that is exactly why they are doing it.

Vaccines,fluoride in tap water,mercury fillings,chemical food additives,GM foods,tetra masts,HAARP in Alaska,cell phones are all part of a larger attempt to dumb down and suppress the population so they become more suggestable and easier to control.

Let me guess..  you are one of the few who has uncovered this plot and are trying to open the rest of our eyes? 

Something has certainly dumbed you down any way.  Not everyone is so foolish.

 

bit rude and uncalled for to respond to someone else's beliefs in that way? I would suggest it is not a conspiracy to dumb us down. although I do wonder when I see the way some people are... but it is the people who are making the money that don't want us to know about the probelms with their wonderful additives they are using to either make their product go further, so saving them money in processing, or they want to get back the enormous amounts spent in developing their product. So if we are not told about the negative bits to their findings, they can carry on selling to us, or our doctors. And I know from personal experience having worked in the industry, that research is selected on what will sell.

this is coming at an opportune time, considering the election cycle in the USA.

 McCain has made statements about thiomersal and autism and  if he is elected you can expect to see a house cleaning at the CDC, who have refused to investigate Jenny MCCarthy's claims about curing her son.

Has vaccination been linked to Down's Syndrome as well? I was unaware of this.

Just the least "suggestable", clearly.  Have you ever actually checked out Lynn McTaggart and what she is all about?  She is yet another pseudoscience peddlar who has done very nicely from attempting to give nonsense ideas some grain of scientific respectability that they do not have.

Only the scientifically illterate would ever mistake what she does for science and guess what? They are exacty who she targets..

Shame on all such willfull peddlars of pseudoscience clap trap.    This is not a cutting age branch of science that await acceptance from the mainstream as she and her like all maintain about their personal barmy views.  Its just simple made up nonsense claiming to be.

And appealing to people who are ill as an audience..  I say again shame on you.  If you want to have spiritual beleifs, then have them and enjoy them.  But do not insult the scientific community by misrepresenting us as having anything to do with such nonsense.

The pharmaceutical Industry exploit the sick for vast sums of money....spitirualists have their vulnerable advocates.....mediums prey on the bereaved and desperate sector....fortune tellers/card readers exploit their market...junk science....etc.etc...Oh. and then there is the 'food' industry...sigh

By the way, ANYONE point me in the direction of simple proof that vaccines actually work?..in the real world...with populations....and I don't mean theoretical from 'immune cell response' tests, etc.....I'm still not finding any, but live in hope!

There is certainly an accumulating burden of evidence that vaccines are extremely harmful. Autism it has been admitted by the US government, is caused by vaccines. Also autoimmune diseases, like arthritis diabetes and lupus, Gastrointestinal diseases like Crohn's, some cancers caused by monkey viruses in vaccines,fibromyalgia, multiple chemical sensitivty, chronic fatigue, morgellon's all have links to vaccines.
