    Auto immune hepatitis

My 13 year old son was diagnosed with AIH a year ago, he is doing well on prednisolone and azathioprine ( to suppress his immune system) and may have to take it long term, 20% of children get off medication. However, I was wondering if any readers have any experience of this condition and know any alternative therapies to support his liver and spleen?

I drink Dr. Miller's Holy Tea twice daily to support my liver and spleen.  I have a heart condition and the medication caused some liver damage.
The tea is the only thing I've found that is "easy" enough on my heart for me to take.  A regular liver cleanse was not an option.  I no longer have liver disease and my heart is actually stronger since drinking the tea.  My Dr. was shocked!  He doesn't agree with natural health procedures but he couldn't say anything to me but to continue doing what I was doing.  I highly recommend Dr. Miller's Holy Tea!  It seems too simple to be true but I am a living testimonial and there are many other testimonials you can read on the website:

If you can't click onto the link just copy and paste it.  Give it a try, it's natural and easy to drink.  Prednisolone is hard on the liver and this will add to your sons woes in the long term.   It's good you're being proactive about his treatment.  I sure hope this information helps you and your son.

    Take care.

    Re: Auto immune hepatitis

EAV testing identifies underlying causes of symptoms generally, but can be very specific, finding undetected viral, bacterial, fungal, parasitic infections etc. which have not been cleared by the body's own immune function for whatever reason.  Once identified they can be cleared using Isopathic and Nosode remedies.  This is a very successful way to improve health.  Often clients have had symptoms for years and sometimes decades, but once the cause is identified and cleared that is the end of it.  Then there are Suis Organ remedies to encourage regeneration of organs/systems to a health state.

    Re: Auto immune hepatitis

There are many herbal and homeopathic tonics and/or support remedies your son could consider for liver and spleen which have been helpful to many. Two of the main herbal tonic/regulators for the Liver are Chelidonium tincture and Carduus Marianus tincture. For the Spleen Ceanothus tincture. These can also be given in potentised form as homeopathics, and there are many other homeopathics with known affinities for the organs mentioned, and other remedies which could help your son. I'd advise going to a good homeopath and having his case taken in full. Best of luck!

Hi, I went on to the Holy Tea website and tried to order some.  My card wasn't accepted so I was unable to do so.  The only contact detail was a "jamcam" phone number (with no international code attached to it).  Do you have any contact details for Dr Miller?  Thanks

i have been told about the properties in MILK THISTLE for cleansing and reapairing the liver.  A friend of mine has astonished the doctors by the repair of her liver simply by taking milk thistle.  this can be obtained at any health food store in capsule form.

    Re: Auto immune hepatitis

I understand that overactive immune function can be a consequence of inadequate cellular communication and in particular immune system inability to differentiate between healthy cells and non-healthy cells. Apart from healthy eating of organic non-processed foods, supplementation with optimal health system products, and in particular glyco nutrients, has proved beneficial in some cases. These can be obtained from www. 3jv2. com Unlike immune system 'regulation' which is the function of immune 'suppressant' drugs for auto-immune disorders [or immune stimulant drugs for immuno-depressive disorders] glyco nutrients have been shown to achieve a 'modulating' cellular benefit. This in effect means the immune system and other cells are equipped through correct nutrient supply to increase or decrease immune function without a need to 'prescribe' specific amounts according to system function. As a complementary approach, the benefits should be easily observed according to your son's ongoing requirement for the drugs you mention. If natural nutritional supplementation is effective in his case, your physician will likely adjust the dosage of drugs accordingly. Additionally, as hormones are so fundamental within the body systems, using a supplement with natural plant based phyto sterols can provide the pre-cursors to enable the glands to generate the neccessary hormones without chemical intervention; thereby allowing the correct cellular function through adequate hormone signalling. Hopefully, getting your son's cellular health at a better level will allow the body's natural system functions to co-operate synergistically to bring better health andd wellbeing to him. All the best...

Do the homeopathics, get adjusted by your Chiropractor, look at Analytical Research Labs www.arltma.com/newsletters and use H2O2 see http://www.oxygenhealth.com/index2.html . I have found Oxygen therapy (ozone, peroxide) to be one of the major players in regaining and maintaining health. - Doc

    Re: Auto immune hepatitis

As Bryan of WDDTY knows, we have been at pains to emphasise the importance of the regulatory processes which regulate the physiological systems and hence organ, cell and biochemistry. Look in the Merck Manual pages 3-5 or on the internet.

Instead of suppressing the immune system it makes sense to balance the immune system.  There are various alternative therapies which claim to do so including nutritional supplements, various herbal remedies, homeopathy, and a number of new era machines which appear to be based mainly upon neurofeedback.  Virtual Scanning, which we use, appears to be the most advanced of these techniques. It should certainly have the desired effect of balancing his immune system and supporting his liver and spleen.
