    Hi

It sounds like your body is struggling with its circulation, hence the hot/cold extremities.  There are a few things you can do to imrpove your circulatory system, but first I think you should look in to why your body its finding it difficult to maintain its  homeostasis.  My first port of call for this would be your alcohol consumption.  You say this is quite a lot and so indicates to me that you know that this is contributing to your problem.  It seems your body is over-burdened with this and unable to deal with the excesses.  Going to the gym is good, but if your body is already under pressure from excessive alcohol then this could be adding even more stress on your body.  Alcohol also disrupts our hormone levels and endocrine system, all of which can have a negative effect on your bodies ability to regulate temperature.  Dehydration may also be a factor too.  My best advise would be to cut out the alcohol, or at the very least limit to the weekends.  Drink plenty of water to aid the cleansing process and to specifically improve your circulation try ginger, onions, garlic, chilli and cayenne pepper.  Also try to incorporate antioxidants in the form of fruit, this will help strengthen your blood vessels.... all berries are great for this along with goji berries, acai cherry and grape seed extract.  You may also consider a good quality multivitamin too and a B complex for a while as alcohol depletes our levels of these in particular.  Hope this helps.
