My husband has a large wart on the outside of his hand just below his little finger knuckle.  He has had it for over a year now and none of the proprietary brands are making any difference.  Does anyone know of any cures to try?

Have you tried Silver Nitrate available at drug stores as caustic pencil?

What colour is his wart? If it's almost black and oozing I would advise consulting dermatologist in case it's melanoma.
