    Drug Reactions

When my 2 year old grandson had a very severe reaction to the meningitus vaccination which involved him being kept in hospital, I suggested to my daughter that she contact her doctor and ask him to complete the yellow card.  Her doctor's practice said they had never heard of such a thing!  Thank you for producing a yellow card on your site.  Perhaps doctors and drug companies will now wake up to what their patients are saying.

Absolutely.  The yellow card scheme is there for an absolutely critical reason and it MUST be used properly to be effective.

The entire point of the scheme is to spot events even if they seem like red herrings when they are seen in isolation.
