Can anyone help me with pain caused by costochondritis.which I have been told is inflammation of the muscle and cartilage in the chest wall.. I have pain in left breast and the rib area under and around the side. it hurts to touch the area and to breathe deeply. This came in Jan 06 after an operation for a nipple discharge which I was assured showed nothing nasty.

I had never had anything like this until then. Pain killers upset my stomach.  Homeopathy helped for a while but it is now back with a vengence.The whole area feels sore and it is painful to move.
