I am not a doctor but I analyse situations and try to find logical conclusions-answers That is how I came in water-filration. .

Well we all know that our drinking water is polluted with chemicals etc that do not belong in it. But governmental regulations make us belive that our body can endure minimum quantities .

E.g. you daily quantity of chlorination comes to you via tea-coffee, soupe, or other cooking. Filtrate your water with at least a good activated carbon

Go to google and serach for - Chlorination cancer - especially dr Herbert Schwarts

or read Professor Heberer -Technische Universität Berlin- water is a cocktail of hormones and medical remnants.

Furthermore the acid character of our food drinks etc ( cola PH 2,3 !!) decreases the self-cleaning function of our body, which means in fact that chemicals that do not belong in our body are not removed.

And as to our nutrition.........Do we really believe that all the €-numbers are ok ?

Take a look at the Hunza's. A groupe that lives in the Himallaya, studied by Nobel¨prize winner Dr Coanda.......they eat pure, drink pure, have clean air and no stress.................and hardly any medical expenses and yet live up to 130 years.

My suggetion is: start with your drinking water

Cor

I did have a lumpectomy and radiation. I am taking Tamoxifen, but also take calcium-d-glucarate, as I understand that it can help move the excess estrogen out of your body. I also take a product called EST-AID, along with CO-Q10, Fish Oil, Alpha Lipoic Acid, and Beta Glucan. I have drastically changed my diet and feel that I'm on the right track. Best wishes on your health quest!

It is really with empathy and fascination that I'm reading your log.

I too recovered from colon cancer without chemo and radiation although it was strongly recommended on three occassions. I had a recurrence last year, only 10 months after the surgery to remove the tumour from my sigmoid colon, and had another suspected recurrence this year. On both occassions I treated the condition with diet only.

I am following the CAAT diet administered thru the A P John Cancer Institute in Florida and my recovery is fully proven with MRI scans and colonoscopies.

This protocol which exploits the unique metabolic and energy requirements of cancer cells and deprives them of nutrients thereby causing apoptosis, also nvolves natural progesterone. This had the added benefit of shrinking a fibriod tumourin the uterues by two thirds in about five months, and also reducing the thickness of the endometrium which was unhealthy for my age. A 3 cm growth which was sticking out of the side of the colon in the area where the previous tumour was, had grown since the surgery, also shrank. In fact it disappeared completely.

The recurrence in my opinion was partly aggravated by using estrogen creme which was presribed after the surgery for menopausal symptoms. A polyp grew within five months of using it. So in my experience natural progesterone can be helpful in treating cancers that are estrogen dependent.

If you want to discuss treatment further and compare notes, please email back and I will leave a number.

All the best,

Jessica

I think that the more chemicals there are in the world around us, through water, pesticides, in the workplace, in traffic, in GM foods and so on, the body becomes overloaded. Add stress and a bad diet to the mix and it becomes overwhelmed. I think that's what happened to me - and many other people too which explains the reason why so many people are being diagnosed with cancer.

I am currently writing an article about xeno-oestrogens that are in such things as washing powder, and conditioner, cleaning materials, shampoo and so on, that are believed to overload the body with oestrogens - and are another reason why there is so much cancer of the breast and prostate. I will be putting on the website when I've finished it.

Thank you for the thumbs up about progesterone - that is good news for me as I had not considered it before now and it is encouraging - especially since I have done some research into these oestrogens that occur in chemicals. Anyone who wants to email me privately can do so on sueinsole@hotmail.com

Thanks again - I am so glad people are finding this interesting.

Recently I came across a book called The Hidden Secret Story of Cancer by Professor Brian Peskin. It contains 500 pages of analysis of hundreds of scientific studies. He looks at all the cancer research for the past century or so, and, by not starting from any preconception, comes up with some interesting conclusions. (He also documents how doctors and food experts are not trained to study the field's own research and operate substantially on interpretation, hearsay and myth.)

He bases a lot of his findings on the work of Dr Warburg,a nobel prize winner who spent 60 years through the first part of the 20th century studying cancer. Warburg found that regardless of any secondary influence, cancer always results from a lack of oxygen in the cells. With rigorous methodology, he repeated this finding over and over. At the time this didn't really go anywhere in terms of cure, and his research was largely overlooked. However, recent hitherto unconnected studies have found that EFAs (essential fatty acids), in particular omega 6 and omega 3, are the oxygen ‘magnets’ used by cells and are ‘essential’ to cell oxygenation.

In the past 100 years the food industry has been industriously destroying EFAs and producing processed fats which, conversely, inhibit cell oxygenation. This has satisfied the target of increasing food shelf life (fats are what gois off most quickly) without regard for food quality. Meanwhile cancer has skyrocketed!

So we have lost the good oxygenating fats and simultaneously filled our cells with damaging (oxygen repelling) fats.

The primary cancer preventative recommended by Peskin (backed by his analysis of numerous studies) is to take the right combination of omega 6 and omega 3. Peskin has developed a formula based on the occurrence of these in different cells in the bodies. He provides evidence that the body can create it’s own derivatives from ‘parent’ omega 6 (linoleic acid) and ‘parent’ omega 3 (alpha linoleic acid). Appparently only small quantities of these derivatives are required.

Peskin reviews a series of studies (not surprisingly unpublicised by the billion dollar fish oil industry) which indicate fish oil is actually harmful and says this is because it overloads the body with derivative fatty acids.

How to start right? Go to health food store and get organically grown, cold pressed flax seed oil and organically grown, cold pressed safflower oil (the latter must indicate high in linoleic acid, not oleic acid – a derivative). Mix them 1 part flax to 1 part safflower and take raw with food, 1 teaspoon twice a day. (Store in the fridge in a dark bottle). A very cheap remedy!

Meanwhile avoid anything with saturated or processed fats! (‘Vegetable oil’ on the label is a sure giveaway).

Otto Warburg also found what he termed ‘cofactors’ assisted in cell oxygenation. Today we would call these chelated minerals.

You will find more information and can order the book at www.brianpeskin.com

Spending most of my teenage life in hospitals visiting her (and my father when he had bowel cancer when i was 17, full recovery, in remission) kinda left quite an impression on me. I am now vegan, as I want to live as healthily as possible and not become victims as my parents were.
