I've never used them from tins and understand that people who have find the soaking beforehand a bore. I think that would soon become routine. It will also help the environment as there will be no tins to recycle. Sauces made from fresh tomatoes and herbs taste a lot better than tinnned. My family are grown up now but I found it was easy to use these methods even though i was teaching during the day. It all takes suprisingly little time. We've been educated to &amp;quot;fast food&amp;quot; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Hope this helps and good luck! Daphne&lt;/p&gt;
